Battlespace

Battlespace is a great indoor business game / simulation that requires effective leadership, teamwork and communication to win.

Team members assume various roles which are all equally crucial for the planning and execution of a military operation unfolding in real time. Limited time and resources become factors as do unexpected changes and of course the actions of competitors.

Each sub-unit will need to communicate, and see beyond their own tasking to grasp the bigger picture objective. People must share information and not succumb to task overload if they wish to be victorious and profitable during their campaign.

Teams gain valuable tailored insights into military decision-making, leadership, execution and cross-functional techniques.  These can be carefully matched to your business aims and objectives.

Group Size: 5 and up (suitable for large groups)

Duration: 2 - 3 hours (full day versions also available)

Venue: Indoors.  Can make use of your existing meeting space.

Key Themes: Teamwork, leadership, unity of purpose, communication, seeing the bigger picture, decision-making, change, complexity, task / information overload, cognitive bias, perseverance, cross-functional working, team roles.

Your team are recruited into your own elite Strike Force, issued uniforms and personalised dog tags (optional) and briefed for specially tailored missions.

Each team will progressively obtain the skills and equipment from a series of challenges conducted initially as seperate teams, and then slowly come to the realisation that the final mission will require a truly "united force" of the total team.

All sub teams ultimately unite for a spectacular final assualt on enemy HQ that will require excellent planning, cross-functional communication and execution to succeed.

Strike Force is a great team building challenge that also has the ability to dovetail into insights from genuine military planning, briefing and execution tools and approaches.
